Hi everyone,

Had a really bad night last night. Unfortunately, one of our brown burmese cat was run over last night. Telling Sophie this morning was absolutely awful. It is the first time that death has meant something to her.

We are going to have a little 'funeral' for the cat later this afternoon, which I will help let Sophie have some closure.

I have read about Zantac in several posts and was just wondering what it is for.

The dreaded reflux Libby. You may never get it. I have only developed

it these past 3 or 4 months. It seems to kick in when you have a lot

of fill, but not everyone suffers from it. There is Somac (great but

prescription only) Nexium-I have not tried and Zantac you can buy over

the Chemist counter. It just relieves the gases and burning. I have

only been taking it for about 2 weeks and it's a great help. Lorraine

inspired me because I was suffering awfully and having no sleep. The

relux seems to know when night time comes around because that is when

we seem to suffer worst which ensures your sleep is non existant or

disturbed. Don't you worry about it for a long while yet, if at all.

Good luck (again) tomorrow, ACES HIGH!!!! Sorry about puss, I am not

an animal lover but do like a moggy. Make sure you or your husband

lets one of us know how you are post surgery please. Maree

Hi maree,

I will try and get hubby to post an email to the group on monday night, but he isn't very good at all with emails, so don't be surprised if I'm offline for a while.

I am feeling so excited and scared now. I don't know how on earth I will get to sleep tonight!!!!

BTW do many people throw up after the surgery?

Libby :-)
