Guest guest
Indeed. But as PMID 12932505 and another big review I cant find right now purport to show, there has been failure to consistently demonstrate a clear immune abnormality. They can be hard to demonstrate. Chemically that is. Walk up to someone with CFS and feel their neck, you are probably gonna find some inflammation. As Rich rightly points out, that doesnt mean inflammation is the main root cause of the disease, in any or all cases. But personally I still suspect it almost always is... tho like Scha I am realizing more and more that all these chronic diseases could possibly all be pretty different. Most of us feel crappy and tired and are IMO inflamed, but there are plenty of ways to get inflamed, with important differences. Even if its all caused by bacteria (very possible) there could be important differences within that realm. More observations needed... > I think the ID in CFIDS stands for immune disfunction > rather than deficiency.
