Guest guest
Pam, I’m about 80 days into the Diflucan 200mg therapy. I will tell you, the 1st 3 weeks were rough. I did have headaches & although I didn’t think my fatigue could get much worse, it was HORRIFIC the 1st 3 weeks. I bit the bullet & persevered (which isn’t easy) & I have to say, I’m glad I stuck with it. I went full dose & never skipped a day, as much as I wanted to. I’m not willing to say it’s a miracle cure……..but I’m glad I’m pursuing it. The headaches are gone. The HORRIFIC fatigue is gone & I’m just back to the pre-existing fatigue level, but am hopeful that it will abate soon. Of interest, I was bit by a tick almost a year ago. I was already sick before this with either a rheumatological disease or Lyme (debatable) but was re-infected in May. It set off a series of terrible itching rashes which would keep me awake at night. I scratched myself raw. I have been on multiple treatments for this & it’s been quite discouraging. About 60 days into the diflucan, the rashes are going away. No, I don’t think the underlying issue was yeast. I think this Diflucan really does do something to disrupt the life cycle of Lyme. I have experienced a similar problem experiencing nasty visual auras which I haven't had for over 7 years. I feel aweful at the time and it stirs up my central nervous system badly also feeling quite dizzy with it. I have only taken 1 Diflucan last Friday, 1 Sunday and 1 yesterday. The first classical migraine started within 24 hours of taking the 2bd Diflucan tablet and today another even worse one started within 24 hours of taking the 3rd Diflucan yesterday. I cannot see how I can do the Diflucan protocol that my doc wants me to do if I react in this way. These attacks really scare me they are so nasty and they are not typical of the usual migraines I get. Pam

Guest guest
Hopefully I will get to meet with Schardt in a week or two when he's in town. I would say yours and 's response is because diflucan has good intracelllular and CNS penetration and is killing both borrelia and fungi. Guest guest
I will be interested to hear of what you learn from Schart and any additional studies/recommendations he might have. Guest guest
HI Pam Im sorry I cannot help more. I would say one thing. My neurological problems significantly have improved with B12, Are you getting enough. I find that I need quite a bit and strangely the Cyno liquid form is most effective. Just thought Id re mention that. bleu > > > Pam, I'm about 80 days into the Diflucan 200mg therapy. I will > tell you, > > the 1st 3 weeks were rough.
