I am on it. I have collected some interesting factoids so far but I

cant uncover an authoratitive treatment. The precise signifigance of

interactions between glycocalyges and host immunity may or may not be

one of these " fig leaf " areas of modern ID studies, like the

pathogenesis and persistence of syphilis. Maybe I just havent found

the right source yet. Run across anything hot in pubmed? Immunology

and microbio reference books disappointing so far.

Thanx I appreciate it! Let's not worry about whether they've studied

what it does. Can we find out what sugars are on its surface? And if

we can find out how they use it (not worry about host immunity) that

would be cool.
