re what we were talking about before -

" Comparing their in vitro stimulatory activity, live spirochetes, but

not lysed organisms, were a potent CD14-independent stimulus of

cytokine production, triggering an exaggerated response by CD14(-/-)

macrophages. "

sayeth PMID 15661914. So I'll be checking this full text out tomorrow.

JD Radolf is one of the authors, one Ive been unfamiliar with... I

will also be checking out his thoughts on treponema... also did work

on babesia with Krause who I think is Barbs favorite babesia author...

" quite surprisingly, these studies also have provided evidence for

TLR-independent [inflammatory] signaling pathways triggered only by

live organisms "

says his webpage http://grad.uchc.edu/phdfaculty/radolf.html

So, I'm thinking this is maybe some of the work is into? I look

forward to getting into this neighborhood of stuff.
