Guest guest
I am considering taking a break from the board for a short stretch. The medical situation is now so extreme I can't really talk about it in a normal way, but I also can't set it aside like it wasn't happening. I certainly am not pulling away, more being pulled and finding it easier not to resist. I've had two two hours of Parkinson's-esque shaking in the last twenty four, and have informed the relevant parties that if they intend to act, now would be a good time, as I no longer have the strength to monitor my own case. We'll see what happens. Maybe I'll make a liar out of myself and post twice as much. What's certain is my illness has moved unambiguously into the " catastrophic " category and for now I'm not sure what that means about websites dedicated mostly to chronic complaints. What is happening to me is more like a prolonged acute condition than a chronic one. The progression is rapid, not buried in the sameness of day to day miserty. If the shaking keeps up, I may not care very much about the long- term view and just try to find something that allows me a measure of dignity in the here and now, if such a thing should turn out to exist.
