A brief farewell and equally brief welcome

Having finally managed to pry my wife away from 'the workplace', I shall be

taking her to a friend's inn in the Alps for

a week and then to the home of another friend in the Lot et Garonne for another.

We'll be back as of the 21st./22nd.,

jus after her birthday.

In the meanwhile, please try not to burn the place down without me (I always a

pyromaniac and would hate to miss

another big blaze like I did at Christmas)... I would've put it on 'hold' if I

knew how.

For those of you who're on holiday, have a great holiday; for those of you

who're not, have a great holiday anyway.
