The one came in my personal email. I have no spam attached to my messages.

Umm... I don't know about messages coming directly from this site, as

I do not receive those. I prefer to come here to read them, makes

life much less complicated for me. I do know I started receiving the

worm virus and had to delete several emails with attachments, did not

open any of the attachments.

And yes, yahoo does set alot of email as spam, I think just for

grins, to keep us on our toes.

I get my messages through digest and ONLY reply at the website also.

I have never sent anything to anyone personally and I really don't

like to be blamed for sending spam when I haven't. I have no idea

how to even do that. I have had a lot of worms sent to me also but

my Yahoo Spam guard filters them and puts them in my bulk file. My

Anti virus is up to date too so I am not sending viruses either.

This same thing is going on on my other lists but the moderator has

to set the spam guard filter to off.

Going back to lurkdom...

One of them did not come from the site itself. This is why I'm very much on guard at this time. Some of these viruses take the addresses and spoof the "sender's" name, with a nice little destructive attachment to go with it. It looks like it's from someone we know, and, of course, that's what makes the new viruses so dangerous---we can't tell the difference any more because they don't look as suspicious as they used to. Anyone, please please install a good virus program, if you don't already have one.

Re: Spam

I do not know what is going on, but a lot of posts that I receive as emails from this group and others are going into my "Bulk Mail" folder with the notation "Spam." With my Yahoo mail, I can just click on "Not spam" and move them to the inbox. None of these have contained viruses.

Yahoo just does some quirky things from time to time. . .
