Guest guest
Okay now I'm depressed. I so wanted to go to the next round of tapings but I had no idea they would be so soon. They need to give more advance notice!!!!! No money for it this time. I love that part on the announcement board about considering an extra jog bra because video is very unforgiving. Ha! That would have been the first thing I thought of!
Guest guest
I'M GONNA GO!!!!! I just have to iron out the details on how to get there, etc. I signed up for the Basic taping on November 20 and one on November 21. How exciting! Guest guest
Hi Barb, I thought that too but I think that stripes would distinguish the pants and they wouldn't blend into the background.... Guest guest
I'm going to the tapings! I am so excited. I'm flying from Nashville and my MIL is going to come with me so she can watch my 10 month old while I work out. I'm signed up for 2 basic and 2 advanced starting on Thursday Nov 11, doing one workout per day through Sunday. I'll probably be dead by Sunday, but I figure if I'm flying all that way I might as well get as many workouts as possible in. I can't wait. This has been a dream of mine for awhile and when I saw that you could sign up for the classes I just had to do it. .
Guest guest
> I am clueless why pants need a side stripe though? Barb, I was wondering this also. I can't for the life of me figure out why the pants would have to have a stripe down the side. Guest guest
I was kinda overwhelmed during the weekend by all the messages, that's why I didn't answer many of your posts. I was so busy during the weekend. In our small town this week we have an international film festival, and I spent most of my weekend there. I will also be spending most of the week there also. I'll still be reading your messages, just won't be answering all of them. Just so you don't forget there is a poll going on at /vote?method=displayallvotes & listname=tae-bo_on I would really appreciate you just filling in your answers so I can post the results of the poll this week. Have a great day everyone! Janou who loves this email listing cuz I feel like I'm getting to know you all a little bit better everyday

Guest guest
> Barb > who is enjoying the tapings vicariously (and without worry of falling on my > @$$) Barb, There were so many times when I was like " Please God don't let come over here and try to push my leg down or hold my leg up or whatever " . You're safe when he's in front of you because you can tell where he's going, but when he's behind you, you have no idea where he is or what he'll do next. We were doing one of the balance moves where you hold you leg out straight to the side and then hold it...and he had us close our eyes. Talk about difficult. I was totally losing my balance, but I didn't feel bad because everyone else was too. The next time you do that move, try closing your eyes. Then he had us do it with our eyes open and it was so much easier. Try it and let me know what you think. I didn't think it would be so hard with your eyes closed. He was telling us we should " feel " the balance, that we shouldn't have to have our eyes open. But it was alot easier said than done!! I drink a lot of water during the workout, but I don't stop the tape to do it. As I'm " walking it out " , I step right over to the tape where the water bottle is, take a drink, and then walk back to position in time to start the next move. I never miss a beat, but I get that water in. -- Sandy (never miss a beat to get water, but I miss quite a few beats for other reasons <g>)
Guest guest
, I just had to tell you that your indepth reporting of the live tapings has made my week. I enjoy every little tidbit. You are actually making me think about going to the next set. First, though, I have to know if anyone wore glasses for the tapings. I can't wear contacts and am blind as a bat without them. If they won't let you wear glasses (even antireflective ones), then I can't go. Was 's wife or son at the tapings? Just wondering what they are like. Someone on TBQ's board said they attended a class led by Jr., but gave very few details. Was Dion there (he's an instructor who is on most of the tapes and always teases him to keep working)? Eugene (the guy in the front row in AL1). You are a real sport for doing all those workouts and not getting upset about missing a move or losing your balance. I don't know if I would have enough confidence and self esteem to keep going if I messed up.

I would totally encourage you to try to go the next time. It's such a great experience. I'm not sure about the glasses. I did see one guy who wore glasses, but he did take them off during the workout. I think this particular guy works for because he was at every taping and he knew everyone. But, I am not sure if it's a " rule " that you can't wear glasses. Obviously, he could still see without them. I'm sure that if you need your glasses they would let you wear them. I can't see any reason why they wouldn't let you wear them. > Was 's wife or son at the tapings? Just wondering what they are > like. Someone on TBQ's board said they attended a class led by > Jr., but gave very few details. I didn't see 's wife or his son, but they very well could have been there watching or something and I just didn't know who they were. 's brother was at one of the tapings before one of the ones I did and we watched them while we were waiting. They have a TV with the current class going on playing out in the room we were waiting in so you could watch the class that was going on. Somebody that was standing next to me in one of the classes said that was a lot of fun to take class from because he gets really into the music and has alot of fun. > Was Dion there (he's an instructor who is on most of the tapes and > always teases him to keep working)? Eugene (the guy in the front > row in AL1). I didn't see Dion, but Eugene was there for most of the tapings that I was at. There were also a couple of other guys that I didn't recognize from any of the tapes, who were at every taping and must be instructors for . But I don't know any of their names....sorry. > You are a real sport for doing all those workouts and not getting upset > about missing a move or losing your balance. I don't know if I would > have enough confidence and self esteem to keep going if I messed up. I just tried to do the best I could, but of course there were times when I just lost balance or couldn't quite figure out a certain new move. There were also times I had to " walk it out " , but everyone is at a different level so I just tried to take it at my own pace. I think actually prefers that because it shows everyone at home doing the tapes that we are all different. As long as you are trying and really focusing, that's all that you can ask for. We're not going to start off perfect, but that's what we are all working towards. We should feel confident that we are doing the best we can for the level we are at right now, and I think that's all that expects from us! I know that I will definitely try to go again the next time there is a taping if I can. Maybe I'll see you there!
