Guest guest
Well, I wonder what the Red Cross of california had in mind when they said Lyme is a threat in the blood supply...perhaps this is not as novel as it sounds. Barb was infected this way, maybe it tells us she had a predominantly intracellular infection from the start. Can someone tell me this: Is it the case that when the rate of new red blood cell production is diminished, the immune system can't be as aggressive in targeting infected cells? If that's true, it would explain some things. > > > Hey, who has watched this vid by Drs. & Kroun - link found > > at > > > in the spirochetes section of the homepage of LymeRICK? > > > http://lymerick.ulmarweb.dk/ > > > > > > Im surprised there hasnt been more shock about this. > > > > > > I think this may be blood left out on the slide for many hours. Guest guest
The presentation of my problems (and I'm assuming it was the passage of Lyme and Babs in tainted blood transfusionin 1975) occurred about a month after my operation, in winter - and it was acute presentation- 20K WBC, high fever, malaise - upon manual diff- fragmented and damaged RBCs were found, aggregated RBCS - so it wan't subtle. IMO, because I am spleenless, and the initial load of bacteria and parasites were 'dumped' in - my immune system didn't have a chance. I was dx'd with lupus 2 years later.. by that time the real problem - Lyme/Babs was very disseminated and sequestered (and I'm sure intracellular) sequestered. I honestly think that some of my ALT therapys reduced the Babs load- especially Bee venom therapy - which now is known to be effective on Babs. Re Bowen & the videos: IMO, if a very large percentage of RBCs are infected with anything, the patient is going to be very sick- and by sick I mean fever and high WBC. Sometimes I see on Lymenet people talk about high WBcs- but now often..mostly it's the reverse of me (low WBCs) I have many past blood tests documenting where my WBC was super sky high - between 18K and 20K+ (high range is 10K)... then over time I became lymphopenic (low Lymphocytes) but my neutrophils would rise to the occassion and be way above high range when I'd have a flare... What amazes me is that even in 1993, when lack of technology was NOT an excuse (my last very bad flare with high WBCs- 18K ) all they did was 'monitor me' for a week and ponder these high counts... but hey- they said I had Lupus (and other complex autoimmune disorders) and because I was refusing steroids there just " wasn't anything more they could do. " So they did nothing.
