penny - thanks for ur reply re: clindamycin. see my doc later today will mention the possibility of combining abx. have u heard of anyone combining zithromax and doxycycline? thanks!

Yes, I've heard of people combining those. Anytime you combine drugs,

it's a good idea to check if there are any negative intereactions

between the two. You can do a simple search on google, " zithromax

doxycycline drug interaction " and you'll find a bunch of sites that

tell you if there's any reason for concern.

Also, if you want to try clindamycin, tell your doctor you just want

to give it a try. I usually get as many different abx from my doctor

as I can, just to have some back up. He knows that I'm already

resistant to so many so he doesn't mind letting me experiment.
