Guest guest
Agent Bleu, I found that taking D as we all say one should, with calcium and magnesium, made me miserable. The culprit turned out to be the calcium. I have no problem with D and magnesium, but calcium seems to be poorly absorbed and to calcify my lower gut, imposing a layer of constipation and crampiness that magesium relieves. My LLMD told me, 'right now, stay away from the Calcium!' She was right. This message may have no bearing at all on your situation, and will self-destruct in 10 seconds...9, 8, 7....3, 2... Oh, 1 other thing. How much magnesium do you take a day? Guest guest
Are you taking magnesium and calcium with it also? There is a trinity of these interacting together. We ramped up with a Calcium+D combination and were taking magnesium supplements at the same time. > and my temperate did seem to rise, but my colon got worse, and > yesterday I took 3 * d 400u with breakfast, and my head started to > twitch. Guest guest
Got this suggestion from a MD on the D+Calcium issue: " If they add Calcium L-Threonate (BioClath from Giantceuticals) they shouldn't have a problem in my experience. This is the " Ester-C " of calcium products. Almost everyone reports reductions in musculoskeletal pain as well. It quickly corrects low serum calcium and is stimulates bone formation better than other calcium's. L-Threonate is the key as 3 tablets provide only 300 mg of elemental calcium. Look it up on the Giantceutical web site and let me know what you think. Also, a combination of L-carnitine and acetyl-L carnitine is essential. Guest guest
No I was just taking D3. I found my allergy that had been gone since my flaygl trial about 2 years ago came back with a vengeance. (even on rainy days). D definitely helps with sleep and body temp. I was not taking mag. not much b12 either. I got a feeling that the problem I have is with some toxin in the brain, that needs to come out. This is stirred up in case of benicar and D. (when at worst after benicar I could not tolerate sun at all). This latest round of d had brought be back close to that nightmare. Im ramping back on B12, folic acid and about to try acetyl-L carnitine and ALA. These were both recommended by Wheldon privately. and seem to be potent detoxifies to the brain. > Got this suggestion from a MD on the D+Calcium issue: > > " If they add Calcium L-Threonate (BioClath from Giantceuticals) they > shouldn't have a problem in my experience.
