What I see from the ***model*** and your experiences is that

Sunlight --> Vitamin D --> improve immune system [until you run out

of ammo] --> increase consumption of B12[Ammo] -->

Alternative explanations of sun sensitivity: body screaming for

nutrients.... OR inability to clear NO with B12 causing localized

oxygen starvation (and thus pain).
