Guest guest Posted June 4, 2006 Report Share Posted June 4, 2006 Well, I guess I was lucky, the annex window was smashed but I had put contact on it because the sun used to hit me in the eye through the verticals and wake me, so when they smashed the window it shattered everywhere but still clung together (in a fashion). The screen was cut but my son reckons they were probably looking for surf boards or something because they never actually entered my van. So we did a glass clean up and he boarded up the window for the time being. Two other vans were smashed like mine and the fourth van was quite badly damaged. So, it's not worth claiming the window on isurance because of excess so I will just have to wear it. Could have been a lot worse, there is a TV DVD stereo etc etc but that must not have been what they were after. Whew! Thank goodness.
