Guest guest
o. I did associate hypercoagulation with the way my blood would just stop coming during a blood draw, plus it looked thick, more like oil than water. These are just observations and may not mean anything. Maybe low blood pressure could explain my blood stopping before the end of a blood draw? I could post my Hemex results, but they weren't at all exciting. The one time I did it, it was negative! We have tested Fibrinogen multiple times and it has been high every time [by Hemex's guidleines], except at Hemex itself! It was like going to the doctors on the rare day you feel pretty good. We did an extensive coagulation panel when I was looking at having surgery for osteonecrosis and it was there that I had weird results. Low Factor V activity, high Fibrinogen, high Protein S and high protein C, and a very high CRP - over 3x the upper risk limit. It was explained to me [using gross oversimplication] that the coagulation cascade kind of works like dominoes, if one thing is out of whack it is out of whack all the way through, with one factor affecting the next. Then the body tries to compensate, which is how I have high protein C & S, where normally you would expect low, but all in all it indicated hypercoagulation which would impede recovery from the surgery. I'm going to ask if we can run those tests again, now that I've been on the Natto for awhile and see if they are more normal. If so, I may have the surgery and hopefully get rid of the infection in my jaw. Guest guest
I'm in such a fog I can't figure out who is the sender and the sendee here but I had a small unrelated thought. I too had terrible hypercoagulation. It was completely cleared up for me after about two months on ACTH shots. I attribute the turn around to the ACTH becuase no other products were introduced at that time. Purely accidental as I didn't know it would help that. Isnt' it funny how exciting it is to see bright red blood (and thin too) spurting out of a small finger cut? My oh my, my level of expectations has really taken a nose dive. But I was just wondering if hypercoagulation and pituitary function could be related...........?? Nah...
