Guest guest
paul, i wish you'd clip off a corner of your skeptic hat and fling it 75 mi north!!... ..i think i got very much sidetracked on the inflammation part of the 'engineer's' protocol...pain has never been a major problem ( sometimes i forget how lucky i am!) with me, and my 1,25d was never abnormally high...however my cd 57 was abnormally low indicating a high pathogen load......for me i think it was the enhanced perfusion part of the arb's that was important.....in retrospect i think that the perfusion of my antibiotics increased, but so did the beasties!!! my first ileus happened a couple of months after starting benicar, stopped the benicar and away it went (decreasing the lymies' ability to penetrate the gut???),,,,,and this could mean benicar could increase the penetration of those ciguateralike rbc's into the microcirculation???? after i stopped the mino and zith and went back to benicar with ketek (staying on the benicar) i had a wonderful first week before heading back to the couch - a couple of months later i abruptly stopped the benicar and a couple of days later got a really bad ileus. ...perhaps the antibiotic perfusion had decreased so the now lymies which had managed to run rampant on mep and ketek could take over??? (the inverse from before??) oh, so many variables; from my very limited experience i think if you can get the right anbiotic with an arb you may really be on the right track ,,,as penny seems to have done..... or if you have a low pathogen load to start and/or high inflammation whose pathogenic cause is susceptilbe to minicin....so do i dare go back on benicar with flagyl and ketek??? am not sure i'm ready to be a guinea pig again.... so heads up to the aussie where ever he is - get the right antibiotic for the right bug....and i think for lots of us minocin didn't hit the bugs and they proliferated with the increased perfusion...... and why doesn't cheney mention digoxin??? and why doesn't the 'engineer' (whose brain i really admire) work with other antibiotics or at least let us know his experiences with other antibiotics???? good luck with your pain...i'd like a piece of your skeptic's hat but not your pain! deb
