Guest guest
Sooo what has everyone else been doing - Let's have it - What's new??? Shirley from Southern Illinois Shirley it looks like it's still just us. At 8:30 I went in for my BP study blood work. Next week I go back in to start the second eight week segment of the study. Got home and build a rack to hang clothes on for the big rummage sale we are having this week end. Sondy may have to leave me in charge of the sale. One of her sisters in Mt. Vernon ILL is gravely ill. Sondy will talk to another sister at 4:00 this afternoon and determin if she will head out for Illinois right away or wait a few days. Prayers for Phyllis Borcherdine will be helpful and appreciated. Sincerely

Guest guest
Hi : I'm sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. I will certainly pray for her. Mt. Vernon is not very far from where I live. If she drives she will probably pass the exits I would get off of to come to my house. If she is on Interstate 57 or Interstate 24 either one. I hope she will get some good news from her other sister. Shirley from Southern Illinois Shirley it looks like it's still just us. At 8:30 I went in for my BP study blood work. Guest guest
Hi and Shirley (and everyone else) I just got a terrific new book "We're in the Mountains, Not Over the Hill" by Alcorn. It is about older women who are into backpacking. The writter is from California, so more of the women she writes about live and hike in the west, although not all (several who have hiked the entire Appalachian Trail). I was so sure I would find our Jane in the book, but am certain she knows some of these women. Some of them are in their 70's and still backpacking, and a few hiked even into their 80's. It gives me hope!! The subtitle says "Tales and Tips From Seasoned Women Backpackers" so it might be of interest to those of you who do that. Next year for me!! W Reply to dougpapa Well I have been very busy all morning typing up the church bulletin for Sunday and checking periodically to see if anyone from the group has written. Was a little puzzled as to why it was so quiet - HA.Sooo what has everyone else been doing - Let's have it - What's new??? Shirley from Southern Illinois where is everybody? Looks like just usTell me something. Anything.

Guest guest
*chuckle* he's 3 he eats pizza, eggs, ham, bacon, cereal, yogurt, canned peaches & applesauce, pinto beans & hot dogs and most any junk food out of the freezer that the school fixes for lunch. and most things with a high sugar content thanks to his grandfather. the man gave him soda at 6 months! we're trying to get rid of the junk and candy in the house so he only eats it with grandpa. we still have halloween candy left over. laurie > > > > Well I have been very busy all morning typing up the church bulletin > for > > Sunday and checking periodically to see if anyone from the group has > written.
