Guest guest
Line a colander with pillow case cloth and set over a large bowl. Pour your kefir in and let drain.. the longer it drains, the firmer the kefir-cheese.
Guest guest
When I want to make whey from kefir I let the kefir curds set in the milk until it just seperats then take curds out, then strain in a thin cloth diaper or tea towel. Then I get the kefir cheese, which is good on salads and I also put it on a pancake that has butter and honey on it. Yum!
