Guest guest
OK, this is my second batch of lotion and it still beaded up, So this time i left out the oils since i wanted an oil free lotion anyway, but it wasn't the clumping problem. I seem to think it's the Glyceryl Stearate. I'm getting really frustrated. My directions are below. Thank-you, Vaughn First Stage: Distilled water 87% Glycerin 3% Fat Stage: Steric Acid 3% Glycerylsterate 3% Cetylalcohol 2% Third Ttage Tea 99 1% Last Stage Germaben II 1% Heat the fat stage in a double boiler until ingredients are melted to 70-75C. Heat the water stage in a double boiler to the same temature 70-75C. Add the fat stage to the water stage in a steady stream beating all the time. When uniform in apperance slowly add the TEA 99 When the tempature has cooled to 45-40C. add the preservative.
