Guest guest
Dear , Get the lady to ring me on 01708 226061, I can send her details of the Gerson Therapy. She may also wish to talk to me on the phone as I'm not that far removed from Newmarket and am both a herbalist and a Gerson qualified practitioner. Gerson is not experimentation it has a proven track record but is very hard work and she needs to be both aware of what it involves and committed to two years minimum working with it. If she is working then she would almost certainly have to stop as at this stage her energies are needed for healing and she needs to focus on that. If the secondaries are in the liver she might want to question the wisdom of having further chemotherapy which is undermining the liver still further and will make whatever alternative approach she follows that much more difficult. Most are based on detoxification, nutrition and effective elimination and more chemotherapy means a heavier burden for the liver to cope with. At this stage I would simply send her an information pack which gives basic information and recommended further reading. Once she has decided what she wants to do she can then contact a practitioner for the medications and therapy to be tailored for her own circumstances and health. This is done following a full medical history, including various blood tests, which are repeated throughout the therapy to ensure correct levels are being maintained and to monitor progress. Hope this is helpful. Allshorn Breast cancer and liver secondaries

Guest guest
Hi Tami, My web site is www.antriskell.co.uk though the Gerson section is now being updated. I am now back at work following an accident and able to take patients direct, as opposed to referring them onwards. Other web connections are on the site. The Gerson Institute has a list of practitioners in the states, their details are also on my site. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Thanks, ... its a shame I can't send folks to you, but I'm sure in many cases that its best to see the patient in person, no? Guest guest
Absolutely, without seeing patient its impossible to treat, you have too little information otherwise. But I guess the comment was not intended totally seriously anyway. Good luck Re: Breast cancer and liver secondaries
Guest guest
Dear Mohi, Information pack on its way. I can't send protocols etc. as these are too complicated. Each patient is dealt with individually though the broad outline can be obtained from Max Gerson's book. " A cancer Therapy Results of Fifty Cases " Charlotte has also written more in The Gerson Therapy, with Morton . However do bear in mind that in the 5o or so years since his death the therapy has been worked with, in line with results and new developments, some of which work and some of which don't. This sort of information is available on the Gerson Practitioner training, details from Gerson Institute, see my previous e-mail. Hope this is helpful. Interval assesment is essential to establish the growth rate, and accurate imaging is essential to gauge the susceptibiltiy to different potential therapeutic approaches. She should have the scans assessed by interventional radiology to look at the possibility of various forms of ablation (radiofrequency, cryosurgery etc) as these can effectively debulk accessible liver lesions very rapidly and are relatively non invasive. It is not exactly appropriate to suggest that this patient should not do chemo with what little we know. Gerson is NOT a proven therapy for stage 4 liver involved breast cancer at all, although it has merits in certain other situations. Of course the chemo has to be the right one. Naturally the patient can make whatever decision they chose, but patients need information about options so they can make <informed> decisions.. Either way, a strong nutritional /botanical program is an essential framework for any chosen route.
Guest guest
I recently met a mature student with College of Phyto, who has a background in biochemistry and works for a company in London that specialises in researching the options for cancer treatment. They keep files on what evidence there is on new and existing cancer treatments and give advice to patients on the most appropriate conventional, integrated, and other options. I've no personal experience of their service, but was very impressed with the professionalism of the person that I met. They have a website at http://www. canceroptions.co.uk. Might be worth suggesting to this patient.
