Hi Dura:

I'm a data head too - working in R & D for 27 years

for a semiconductor co. It's not a medical field- but expiemental

protocols are similar.

You may be referring to my posts, as I used HCQ as my immune

modulator with abx for Lyme.

From 1978 thru 1998 I was (mis) dx's with Lupus, and showed

symptoms of several other autoimmune disorders eventually just called

COmplex autoimmine disorder. My symptoms included the accepted list of

symptoms for Lupus, autoimmune heymolytic anemia, Sarc, idiopathi

Uveitis, fibromyligia and possible MS.

I eventually developed chemical and food sensitivities.. and had

allergies and alot of GI and skin problems. IMO these developed in me

over time from and were secondary symptoms.

I suspect that most of the people on this list have one 'official'

diagnoses, but we share many symptoms and when you look at all these

labels, many symptoms overlap.

IMO, here is the progression:

Acute infection--> chronic/occult infection -> chronic inflammation -->

symptoms present as specific disorders depending on tissue type

(genetics, host-pathogen relationship) ---> secondary symptoms emerge

over time- allergies, GI problems, chemical and food sensitivities etc.

Multiple problems seem to come with the (inflammatory) condition.

Ithink the crux is whether or not one beleives the immune system is

a 'flawed ' by design ( i.e. prone to autoimmunity) or not (pathogen at

the root).

I am recollecting that when I read a post about, for example, B12

effects or mino/HCQ, I just wonder if this is being used by someone

with what is being called sarcoidosis or CFS or Lyme or multiple

chemical sensitivities or whether they additionally have allergies

or whatever.
