When you read studies involving eukaryote cells, sometimes theyre

primary cells, which means taken from living animals. Other times,

so that they can reproduce continuously, theyre immortalized, which

means they have some cancer cell genes or artificial genes. This may

be germane to the interpretation of experimental results, as can

tissue type.
