Guest guest
Dear Val How frustrating this must be. I've noticed that labs will group together lab tests that the Dr. has ordered seperately--because it's cheaper and they have their own logic about what goes together. So the order will look different than the report, and one can only hope that nothing gets left out. Your poor daughter. I can only add that having a chronic illness seems to go along with nontypical drug reactions (I cannot take anything that requires a certain liver enzyme. I know this, but the doctors think I'm neurotic) Whether this difference in liver function is because of the illness, a cause of the illness or just a coincidence is beyond me. My liver tests have always been normal. While saying " I hope they find something " is like wishing for bad luck, you can't fix it if you don't know what's wrong. I hope you get some answers. Lynne.
