Referring to your statement, below, I just wanted to say that Garth Nicolson says taking penicillin can encourage mycoplasma and worsen the situation. I'm no expert, just recalling that and I observed it, as well. Kathleen For one example, ribosome-inhibiting drugs may not beas great as they could be as a combination partner for cell-wallinhibiting drugs like penicillin. Bacteria are much more vulnerable topenicillin when they are dividing, which they do less often when facedwith ribosome-inhibiting drugs.
