Guest guest
was probably 2-3 yrs old, and we were waiting in a dr.s waiting room... and of course the dr. was running late. started getting frustrated and wrestless, whining... etc. The whole time he's grumpy, this other mother is giving me the DIRTIEST looks!! And she just kept looking down her nose at like he was this ROTTEN kid. Sometime later, calmed down... and HER son started throwing a tantrum... As we were called into the dr's office for our appt... I walked by the mother and said, " wow...my son had Down Syndrome...what's YOUR kids problem??? " Angel

Guest guest
Let's see the biggest one I have is everyone mistakes Dorothy for a boy! Even when wearing pink and bright yellow. They say what a cute boy! I got it so often finally I just went along with it. Depends on the type of day I am having! Once I started putting her hair up in a single pony tail right atop her head, the occurrences dropped dramatically. Guest guest
Alice, LOL I had that same problem with my niece! People would always tell me what a beautiful little boy I had, and finally I found a PINK T-shirt that said " I'm a girl " all over it. Believe it or not, I still had an older man tell me what a cute little boy I had! Then, when I had my boys...they all commented on what pretty girls they were! LOL So...you can't win for loosing!
