Guest guest
Regarding your hypothesis, I had low gluathione, benefited a lot from B12 but my homocysteine was fine. Doris

Soon after taking sub lingual methyl B12 I too felt it was detoxing the brain, if I do not take it for a while the head pains etc come back with a vengeance. My blood levels of B12 were fine but as you say this may not have anything to do with tissue levels. Many CFS specialists have favoured the use of B12 regardless of blood test results because they find it makes a postive difference. I look forward to watching how your investigations and finding progress and am dleighted when I read how this new protocol is making such a difference for you. Guest guest
Hi bleu, do you know what is the ideal level of homocystein? I was tested and the result is 7,4 (lab range: 3,4 - 20,4). Despite of this pretty low number I was put on B6 (60 mg), acid folic (20mg) and B12 (1000 mg). I have not noticed any remarkable effects so far. etta > This is my hypothesis, It may change, I am still learning. > > I have found that most of the stress that we are under is due to > Homocysteine. Guest guest
My cysteine was high when I was taking a lot of whey protein and had fillings. I was reading Rich's email on the other group and can't really piece it together, the relationship between cysteine and homocysteine. My homocysteine was always measured with regards to heart disease, so I should check the tests and see what the levels were, maybe the reference range is too high, as someone else said. But at the same time I should say that even my cysteine seemed to cycle fast. One test it was normal and a few months later high, then a few months later normal. Maybe that could happen with homocysteine too? Doris ----- Original Message ----- From: yildiz If I rememeber correctly your cysteine was high? Is that correct?
