Guest guest
Liz I Couldnt really tell you because the only Interest that Dylan has towards the potty is to stand on it and turn the water on in the sink! Or flushing something down the toilet! Socks are a Bad idea! We talk about it everyday and now his big sister is starting to put the pressure on him. So hopefully soon. Darrell potty training and casts I have a question for folks who have/had older children in casts. Did you see a regression in potty training with the cast?Keira was pretty much potty trained during the day with her cast. But with cast #3, she has lost control and is having numerous accidents. I am wondering if the cast is too tight and causing her to not notice the signs that she needs to pee. I have put her back in pull-ups.Has anyone else ran into this obstacle? Thanks,Liz
Guest guest
hi dear I'm aseel and i have my daughter besan she is 30 months now and in her 7Th cast i started the potty training with besan from the summer and it took more than other kids and i think a big part of that as u said related to the pressure of the cast so they can't reorganise the different easily ..now besan is using the bathroom and the no of accident is very small ..nothing work for her except the stickers chart ( i give her sticker in a chart when she go or ask for going to the bathroom )and also if u have a bigger sister or brother or friend that she can see once using the bathroom she will like it more ...i some time use the pull UPS in case of going out and the place with not near bathrooms because with the cast prussur she can't hold it for long time ...i hope that i give u something useful ...keep trying its easier when they are out of diapers love aseel Subject: Re: potty training and castsTo: infantile_scoliosis Date: Friday, 9 January, 2009, 7:35 AM Liz I Couldnt really tell you because the only Interest that Dylan has towards the potty is to stand on it and turn the water on in the sink!
