Guest guest
For people who are photosensitive, this is a description of the best system I have found, and have been using since 1998. Computer system with television output. Windows 98 and Windows XP are the two operating systems I have used. Lowest resolution setting, which is 800x600 in Windows XP. 60 hertz refresh rate. Old Sony 27 inch Trinitron, with contrast set at lowest level, and brightness just high enough to read in a dark room. (This is the most important part of the system, in my opinion and experience.) Windows Magnifier to read smallest print and icons. .. High contrast black setting when practical. Arial black font as large as practical, in red or gray. Most importantly, an awareness of the incredibly complex and poorly understood effects of too much light in my eyes, which to some extent I have been aware of for over 35 years, when I had my first disabling CFS crash in 1970 at age 16. This awareness allows for the necessary limitations of time on the computer. I wish I had understood it sooner. It is said that it is easy to be humble when you have a lot to be humble about. This may be the most humbling experience of greater knowledge and understanding that I will ever have in my life. I just wish I knew how to help everyone understand it. Sorry-I'll keep working on it.
