Nelly, I glanced at full text of that one article. It does look like

they succeeded in significantly improving sensitivity of the lyme

western blot by dissociating immune complexes.

Heres an angle on the question that we havent considered - it looks

like it is remarkably difficult to generate immunization against

syphilis by vaccine. This fact may bear more generally on

spirochetosis immunology, because I think the cellular branch of

adaptive immunity (CTLs), in addition to antibody, may be involved

in vaccine-generated immunity.

Adverse effects aside, anyone know anything about the efficacy and

duration of efficacy of the LYMERIX vaccine in animals or humans?
