Guest guest
Nelly, I glanced at full text of that one article. It does look like they succeeded in significantly improving sensitivity of the lyme western blot by dissociating immune complexes. Heres an angle on the question that we havent considered - it looks like it is remarkably difficult to generate immunization against syphilis by vaccine. This fact may bear more generally on spirochetosis immunology, because I think the cellular branch of adaptive immunity (CTLs), in addition to antibody, may be involved in vaccine-generated immunity. http://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/sep2000/nf20000920_834.htm Adverse effects aside, anyone know anything about the efficacy and duration of efficacy of the LYMERIX vaccine in animals or humans?
