Guest guest
Diane, This is serious, as I believe you realize. Degenerative eye changes are not reversible, so you have to treat it seriously while you look for further answers. I'm sorry to hear of the problem, but very glad it has been caught. There seem to be a lot of eye problems with people I know not too far above your age. It turns out that ultraviolet is believed connected to cataracts, and the north east has a heavy concentration in winter. I'm going to have surgery on one eye for this shortly and dread it although I know its safe & simple. Be a good patient so we don't have to worry about you.
