Hello, I have some questions, maybe you can give me an answer as I am very

concerned about my sexual mood. I took citalopram 20 mg/day from ratiopharm

(Germany) in december 2011 for about 4-5 weeks. After two days of the medication

my sexuality was completely gone, and I had never problems with my sexuality

before the medication. Because of the side effects from the medication I stopped

it after a period of 2 weeks. After the quitting of the medication I was really

hoping that my sexuality will come back, but I suffer till now from a sexual

dysfunction caused from citalopram. Now my question: how long does it take that

my sexuality will come back, I am very frustrated about it. I also googled PSSD

but I can't hardly find something about it in the internet. What can I do to get

my sexuality back, are there any medications and what side effects does these

have? I also took in the year 2007 citalopram from another manufacturer it was

called citalopram biomo 20mg. During the medication I had also less sexuality,

but after quitting the medication after 2-3 months my sexual drive came back. I

can not understand that it takes now so long, and I am afraid that it will last

forever, I am only 27 and can not accept that! I hope you can give my some

hopeless information about the prognosis of pssd. Thank you and greetings from

Germany.
