I'm hoping that the owner, Sleepless in Reno, will contact to find out

what the specific violation was. I feel pretty confident that the reason will be

revealed as a legal technicality that is

usually ignored on most of these lists until someone complains loudly enough. My

guess is that the person complaining probably used legal language that got

's attention, claiming that his name

was being used in a a defamatory way and that he'd hold responsible. Just

my guess based on past experience.

As you know, when I was sued by TM, he subpoenaed for all of my

account records. This subpoena became invalid (and would have been illegal if

pursued) when the suit was dismissed. In the

actual lawsuit, conversations were mainly cited in the request for a

judgement against me even when I was not a participant in the conversations. So,

IMO, it's apparent that the group

was being targeted then and was one of the original reasons for the lawsuit

against me.

I believe that TM is very familiar (see examples below) with using the legal

system to his advantage and has no qualms in doing so. When he sued me, he used

the system in a way that made it almost

impossible for me to respond in time to defend myself. The fact that I was very

sick at the time, and that the suit was filed in a town several hours away, made

it all that much more difficult for

me and more advantageous for him.

Remember, TM has publicly threatened to sue Medco, the administrator of approx.

60 million people's prescription med coverage (he also claimed that the

group was responsible for Medco refusing

coverage of Benicar, a completely ridiculous claim, IMO), so taking on any

entity is probably not a problem, IMO. (Perhaps that potentially libelous claim

should be brought to the attention of

?)

A large number of people have made me aware of Public records that show that he

has been involved in numerous lawsuits in his previous business (YARC) prior to

declaring bankruptcy. If memory serves

(you can check links below), his company was sued successfully by a former

employee for lack of monetary compensation. The records also show, if I'm

reading them correctly, that he/Yarc also sued a

man in Denmark for libel. Initially, it appears he won that case (my guess is he

won by default and distance), but he/Yarc was counter-sued and the judgement

against him was even larger than the

initial one, and it was ruled that Yarc could not carry out business in Denmark

until the terms of the judgement were satisfied. Also, according to public

records, he/Yarc was involved in litigation

compelling Yarc to desist using the names of companies like Epson, in websites

he had set up that were affiliated with his business.

Here are links to some of the public records that are on the internet. I haven't

posted these in the past, but in light of recent events, I think they may be of

interest to people.

, the files are not capable of storing large amounts of

information. That's why the links are better, if you could somehow

post them on another site. If not, it would probably be best to just

post the digests as new messages, or to hold on to them until

another, safer home is located.

I don't personally want to administer this group, it's just a

temporary place until we know where we're going.

But do hang onto your digests until we're sure.
