Guest guest
Anne... I knew all the rules and regulations for this banding business. I knew what to expect, but I probably was a bit numb skulled when it came to the actual weight loss side of things. I have been having a think tonight whilst sitting watching Dancing with the Stars, that I had this wonderful notion of the weight miraculously disappearing! Yes, I think that maybe I thought that by now I would weight 75 kilos and be wearing a size 14 !!! I think I have been totally unrealistic... and yet, I did know that this was not going to happen, and that it was going to be a journey of not so smooth sailing all the time, and slow and steady being the aim of the game. So why my frustration and misery today. I don't know. Just one of those days. Thanks Anne... I definately will be picking myself up, dusting myself down and going to that bloody Curves in the morning, I think of that place now as a torture chamber, one that is good for me and giving me strength. It is making me stronger, and I definately can feel my legs and arms and even my back muscles becoming harder and firmer. It is ok, and I will win this journey, it is just going to be slow. And I will keep coming here from time to time venting my frustrations, because I know that you all understand. Mel >> Mel,> > Thank you for whinging today.
