Well guys, I had my job interview yesterday. It was baaad. I was so concerned

about looking healthy I didn't even think about what the pain pills were doing

to me (I needed the pills because I pulled some muscles in my back and was

barely able to walk upright without them). I was so slow in my thinking and

responses; I didn't seem able to put my thoughts out coherently. They said they

would call and let me know but I don't expect a positive answer. But as a

friend pointed out, they haven't said no yet.

It's probably for the best right now anyway. I'm tentatively scheduled for my

lumpectomy on the 10th. And it won't be until they get in that they'll know

what kind of follow up I might need if any. So I don't feel too discouraged

about the job, more embarrassed than any thing else. And my concern about my

health being an issue really wasn't. I was asked about the year I was off and I

told them it was for medical reasons and that was the end of it. Thanks for the

support and encouragement, next time I won't be so worried about it.

Oh Rhonda,

So sorry that you didn't feel good about the interview. Think of it as a

practice run...next time you'll do better.

And even though you never know for sure, maybe you'll be surprised! Perhaps

the interviewer has a relative with arthritis or something...

Rhonda sweetie,

SO good to hear from you. You are on my mind a lot. Take it easy and

breathe, and it will work out. My thoughts are with you and I hope that the

job does come through for you. I miss talking to you.

Love, Sue #2
