I do have an issue with the 28 day herx cycle. As a professor with a good background in Microbiology, Parasitilogy and Immunology, I do know that many organisms have a lunar cycle; all Malerias for example have a 14 or 28 day cycle. Many of us have Babeosis among other organisms that are certainly Lunar. I have issues that are Lunar every 28 days with the full moon. The Doctors in the hospitals who would have to work the ER or Psy. wards were always concerned about a full noon. This is not folk lore but there reality of the Lunar pull on the tides and the water. We are made up of a great deal of water as are most of the living organisms on the earth, so there is truth to a lunar cycle which runs every 28 days.. Prof. Carol Knowing when you've reached that point is largely a trial and error thing, I believe. Some people swear they have regular 28 day herx cycles, but when something is that predictable you have to wonder how much of it is the mind anticipating that something will happen and so it does. Guest guest
Nice to meet you, Prof. Carol! Your point is very well taken. I didn't mean there is no underlying pattern. More like there are too many of them, overlapping and offsetting each other, for any one to be a universal rule. The lunar cycle and its connection to microbes and human beings is fascinating! I hope we get to hear from you on this and other subjects in the future. Welcome to I & I, Professor. > In a message dated 4/2/05 2:48:59 PM Eastern Standard Time, > compucruz@y... writes: > > , > Your reply was very informative.
