Right now, no laughing!

We just got a kitten (about 8 weeks old) and we're supposed to be

giving him his vaccinations.

Mimi and Livvy want to know if it's necessary. What do you all think?

All I know is we never vacc'd the pets we had when we were young.

Just lost my 3rd cat (17yrs) 2 months ago. Never had them vaccinated

because at the time they came to me I couldn't afford it. They all got

a virus one summer and it was touch and go but the vet told me that

the vaccs wouldn't have stopped that particular virus or any other

similiar virus (bit like the flu jab only covers the flu from last

year). When I eventually decide to have cats again I will take them to

a homeopathic vet instead.

Hi,

We gave our kittens all the vaccines and lots of flea treatments and

they were really ill. Tim out a page together

http://www.endofthetunnel.co.uk/eddie/ourcatsinterventions.html

(have a look at the links at the bottom - they should be raw and gluten

and dairy free too - though our June likes raw milk kefir)

One of our cats is now about 50% raw and is so so beautiful and

healthy - just incredible - his coat in wonderful and he's very happy.

The other won't eat raw (except kefir) and isn't as she should be BUT

we are going to work on her over the July holidays. Canned cat food

and regular dried biscuits are killing our pets. They eat our sugary

(see the " various sugars " ingredients) cooked goo devoid of omega oils

and all manner of nutrients and then develop all the illness we humans

have been getting - arthritis, diabetes etc.

Best wishes,

Sandy
