Guest guest
I used to spend alot of time on the Immuesupport Board. Some here people know me from there. I did a lot of research and posted it there. Literally 100s of pieces of research were in their archives. My dad had Lupus and so I had been spending a little time on the Lupus board talking about ABX therapy. There were a couple of people there that didn't like me talking about ABX and would chase me from one thread to another, getting strangely irrate for me discussing it there. There were some who were interested, so I hung around for them and to see what I could learn for my dad. One day these few were particularly bad, real drama and anger and I got tired of it. I said something, that I decided with in seconds I didn't want to leave it there. I went back to delete it and one of these people copied it out of context and sent it to one of the moderators. It was never discussed with me or was I ever given a warning. Within minutes I was banned and ALL of the research was deleted. I was horrified and so were honestly 100s of other people who had followed my research. 100s of people left IS and started decending on 2 other boards I had landed on. Anyway, I was devestated by the loss of all that research. At the urging of a few people I decided to start a research message board. I house research there. Mine and others. It's kind of like a library. Not a ton of conversation goes on there so there really isn't much of a chance of having someone delete the whole board because someone got a little aggresive talking about someone else. I'd like to offer the site to you guys to house your research. You can have a board like this one to talk all you want but then you can add links to my board pointing out research you may have found. That way the research is just a click away but tucked neatly away on a totally seperate board and a different company. I love research and am open to anything that might get me and my family totally well. The board is set up with topics and it is real easy to change things around and add new topics. I'd be open to any ideas you might have. People have offered in the past to make it real big, but I don't want the hassel of what you all have experienced her, very sad. It's called " Look for the Cure " http://cure2003.conforums.com/index.cgi Take a look and if you don't want to house stuff there, then maybe you want to start something like that for yourselves. The board has been pretty quiet as far as new research goes because I have been so overwhelmed the last year and a half. Hopefully I will be in a position to research again very soon. When the info flows in, there are always people there reading. So give it some thought. It's there even for individuals if you want. You don't have to be a member to post either!
