I, like Jelly, am very upset by what you folks have been through. I

have posted here a few times and read the site every day....You have

a wonderful, highly knowledgeable group of posters. Jelly and I know

each other from a few different boards

I would also like to offer you to take at look ar our sight. Three

of us run " Rheumatic Support " ..... www.rs.option8.net...We are very

open to new ideas...

I sincerely hope you folks get this mess straightened out....Your

board has been a fountain of knowledge.

Jelly,

Like

the board --- but in doing due diligence, I notice that the following in the

Terms of Service…

“3. CONTENT RESTRICTIONS

Your web site must conform to the following standards to be eligible to utilize

this service:

A.

User's content must

comply in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws of the State of California and the US

Federal Government.

B.

User's message board

may not contain content promoting the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, sex,

pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, profanity, hate,

" spam, " fraud, racism, mlm, pyramid schemes, or promote any illegal

activity.

C.

User's

message board and Web site must be in English.

** all applicable laws of the State of California ** I view as a

real major problem because AutoImmunityResearch and Trevor Marshall are located

in that state, so ‘legal action silencing’ of the board is a very

high risk. IMHO, the ownership of the domain should NOT reside in the US

(We are an international group)… that is all that I wish to say.

Excellent board –

but I feel it is located in the wrong legal jurisdiction to provide protection

against nuisance actions…

Any other suggestions? We could take

the risk – but the moment we are on the radar, this issue could arise

again. Should I resume my research and back channel activities to get a

robust, survivable solution?

Yes, Ken, I think you should continue your research. Thanks for

doing so.

Bleu, is your board in the U.S? I know you aren't.

penny

Jelly, I also think you have an awesome site.

Ken

If you keep discussions on that board to all research, the pros and

cons, and not to personal issues then it probably wouldn't cause

problems. Just and exchange of RESEARCH and personal experiences

with vairous protocols (not particularly any one). Nice thing about

a board like that is that if you need to vent, there is always the

PM/Personal Message feature. Sometimes discussions can get pretty

intense on a board like this, not a bad thing, but it is open for

ALL to see.
