Guest guest
Penny: How does the bleach (I assume it's Clorox -sodium hypochloride) concentration you're using compare to say the concentration in a public pool ???- DO you know if the chlorine in pool water the same product as commercial clorox? I know the concentration in a pool can attack the cornea and make a mess of your hair (hense the goggles and swim cap) but I used to think it did wonders for my skin (and what ever got into my mouth and nose I also thought was beneficial). Barb PS: I've used a 50:50 solution of clorox and water to kill thrush on the soles of horses hooves.. (which would be like using it on your fingernails) and I have used a very weak solution for small infective wounds, applying it with a needle syringe. Plus, in our climate, the weathering of raw wood is actually fungi & bacterial growth on the wood turning it grey, then black and a 50:50 solution of clorox and water actually restores the wood's natural color by instantly killing the pathogens. Fishermen also use a bleach solution to wash after handling fish (to kill mycoplasma marinum).
Guest guest
yeah, Barb, totally makes sense. My daughter had some kind of oozing infection around her fingernail and no amount of prescription meds helped. A mexican woman I knew told me to soak her finger in bleach. Sure enough, I took the plunge, not for long even, and the infection cleared right up. It would be so great if something this simple could really be effective. I'll keep you posted, but compared to all the toxic stuff I've subjected myself to, I'm feeling pretty hopeful. penny > > Penny: > > > How does the bleach (I assume it's Clorox -sodium hypochloride) > concentration you're using compare to say the concentration in a > public pool ???- > DO you know if the chlorine in pool water the same product as > commercial clorox? > I know the concentration in a pool can attack the cornea and make a > mess of your hair (hense the goggles and swim cap) but I used to > think it did wonders for my skin (and what ever got into my mouth and > nose I also thought was beneficial). > > Barb > PS: I've used a 50:50 solution of clorox and water to kill thrush on > the soles of horses hooves..
