OK, let's both try to get right in one ;) it's FLUOROQUINOLONES, not fluroquinolones (like I wrote) not fluroquinoline, not flouroquinolones

I think I got it, won't do it again for a few days ;)

[infections] HCQ and CQ Nelly

Here's Dorlands definition:fluoroquinolone (flu·o·ro·quin·o·lone) (floor²o-kwin¢o-l[omacr]n) any of a subgroup of quinolones that have a piperazinyl group and a fluorine atom at position 6 and a broader spectrum of activity than nalidixic acid, including ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, and ofloxacin. Called also fluorinated 4-quinolone.Yes.. I beleive the tendon side effected are associated with the abx that have the flouro prefix.Barb Nelly wrote: If you are talking of abx like ciprofloxacin etc I am pretty sure they are "fluroquinolones". In fact, I have never seen "fluroquinolines" mentioned any place. But I agree with you HCQ doesn't carry the same risks of tendon damage as fluroquinolones sometimes carry Nelly
