Guest guest
I have mentioned this b4, when I was this bad Cipro was the only abx that worked. I know your on levoquin, how is that going. I found you had to do minimum of 5-6 week cycles. > > If I were any more hunched over, my spine would snap like a pretzel. > > I read the actual report from December's brain MRI at my LLMD's > office yesterday. Guest guest
Hi Steve, I haven't forgotten your advice about Cipro. Levaquin is a similar antibiotic, just a newer (hopefully improved) version. I've been on it for 3 weeks, will probably stay on it for another 3 weeks at least. This month is kind of crazy, as far as trying to make out how anything is affecting my symptoms. March 1 - started 3rd 4-day round of Malarone for Babesia; March 2 - started Androgel testosterone replacement; March 2 - started Levaquin 500mg daily; March 14 - first IM Bicillin shot; March 21 - second IM Bicllin shot; March 23 - begin 4th 4-day course of Malarone; March 25 - will receive 3rd IM Bicillin shot; March 28 - will begin receiving 2 IM Bicillin shots at once, weekly. Next month, I'll be starting Cholestrymine for toxin-binding, which might help or might just give me a bad case of gas. Soon, I hope to be seeing a new pain specialist (let's hope he likes a good challenge). > I have mentioned this b4, when I was this bad Cipro was the only > abx that worked. Guest guest
when I was doing cipro I was doing 1.5 g per day, the max allowed. 5-6 weeks is the most important thing though. The first time I did only 3 weeks and it did not clear it only helped. > > Hi Steve, > > I haven't forgotten your advice about Cipro.
