Guest guest
Hi Group: My daughter's fiancé has " thrush " the Dr's. diagnoses. He also has diarrhea frequently, especially after he eats. He was a Marine in Desert Storm and I'm wondering if this has anything to do with his present condition. Also, where do you think the thrush is coming from? His Dr. said from glasses at restaurants. That they aren't not really as clean as we think. Could this be? Another worry I have is that my daughter has been dating him for two years and right after she started to date him, she began having acne extremely bad. She is 22 and finally went on Minocin. Could it be that he has passed something on to her? Worried Mother candidiasisonelist wrote: > > G-Shock Sports Watch ** NOW JUST $59.95 ** SHIPPING INCLUDED > Built Tough, Built Cool! Elevated glucose levels may in particular encourage the growth of Candida albicans, the causative agent in thrush, and oral C. albicans counts have been reported to be higher in diabetics than nondiabetics. To get rid of Candida Albicans, whole program may be needed: parasite cleasning, diet, yeast killing herbs, cleansing, dental cleansing (amalgam) Follow this program: http://home.sol.no/~dusan/candida.html Acne are symptom of poor digestion, nutritional deficiency and internal pollution. Those may be caused by consumption of toxins, exposure to toxins, by poor diet, poor lifestyle quality, candidiasis, ... Parasites can also cause poor digestion, nutritional deficiency and internal pollution. http://home.sol.no/~dusan/acne.html Dusan

Guest guest
You should probably have it checked out by either your primary care provider or a dermatologist. This is commonly seen at the area where the interferon is injected, and may stay red, due to sensitivity to the irritants in the injection, but, it usually subsides. I have seen these last throughout the entire course of treatment. They are medium in size, usually do not hurt, may feel warmer to the touch, may itch at times, but are usually only mildly pink to red in color. These are usually seen around the site of injection, but I have seen some people get them in other places. Just to make sure it is not a cellulitis, or from something else, since the combo therapy can make you more immunocompromised, eg: you may get different problems because your body is under medication and you have a virus affecting the liver where most everything can pass through, it should be checked out. If for no other reason, since you were concerned enough to ask about it, it should be looked to for peace of mind. Marty

Animal protein is NOT good for the human body. We're made to digest vegetable protein... spinach and other dark leafy greens. They have MORE protein than meat and it's highly digestible! Most people overdo the protein which puts a terrible burden on the liver and kidneys and leads to all sorts of health challenges! Guest guest
I agree about the load to liver and kidneys - I always make sure I drink more peppermein or kidney tea after taking extra protein. However, most people probably don't need it as they drive everywhere. I don't have a car currently and walk everywhere, which is a lot of exercise somewtimes. I just find I feel a lot better with a protein top-up. Re: Digest Number 35 > As I was saying to Lachlan 'off list' I think that lack of protein can > sometimes produce ES-like symptoms. Guest guest
The problem is quite a few ES' and other health troubled individuals have problems digesting vegetable proteins and fats and need animal proteins. Guest guest
Colourbleu- I was started on tetracycline end of September 2004 and did 3 months of that-- big herx at beginning and less overall inflammatory pain but little improvement in brain fog and fatigue-- and four IV's of colloidial silver which improved my energy somewhat. I found the Wheldon protocal and my doctor agreed that it was worth adding so switched to doxy and zithro at the end of January, starting with one flagyl at end of first week. As I noted, through February I found that trying to wait the three week interval to pulse the Flagyl resulted in worsening, and weekly pulses for about three days seems to work well for now. I've also had yeast problems along with everything, but my doc is prescribing 1-2 tabs of fluconozole each week to manage it, and I'm using Threelac nightly which seems a pretty strong anti-yeast and (I think) anti-chlamydial effect in the gut. Neither the Flagyl nor the Abx appear to be worsening candida symptoms with this regime. Allergies and chemical sensitivities are worse when herxing, but not apparently related to the drugs themselves. I'm betting (hoping?) that the constant Cpn load over the years is part of the allergy/chemical sensitivity problems. We shall see. Something which Wheldon comments on that I find true in my experience: that the combination of abx clearly has a bacteriocidal effect, not just bacteriostatic, as I get clear herx about one and a half hours after I take the zithro (once a day) with the 2nd doxy dose. The flagyl clearly is killing stuff also, and I'm guessing that it is reduction of the intracellular form of Cpn, so taxing on the cellular energy supplies, which is the reason I get energy bursts in the first day or two of pulsing the flagyl. Then the herx builds up and I feel more toxic. Or maybe it's just the effect of the flagyl itself building up-- I can't imagine more than 5 days on the stuff! I'll try to get out and pick up some of the charcoal again to see if this helps-- I don't think I did enough of it previously-- and will add niacin to try and get at that middle stage of Cpn form. It's curious that Wheldon doesn't mention this stage although it's layed out clearly in the Stratton patent description. When I get the time I'll email him and ask about it. I also want to ask him why he prefers the doxycycline as Stratton seems to prefer either Minocycline or Levaquan for the main abx combo's. It may have to do more with Wheldon gearing the protocal at MS rather than other forms of Cpn involvement. I take it that you are treating for Cpn also? Incidently, my daughter is being treated for Lyme's (only two bands were positive on the Western Blot, but both were Lymes specific) with a similar protocal: double abx with a 10 day flagyl pulse at the end of each month, and switching from doxy/zith to doxy/biaxin at month two, then back to doxy/zith for month three. So far she's gotten worse, not better, so either it's not Lymes or it's not the right treatment for her. Guest guest
I did cipro and biaxin in fairly large doses for 6 week cycles. This was about 2000 after being ill for about 1.5 years. Since then I have been much better, (and doing reletivly low doses of different abx,) though I still have colon, left eye, and prostate issues. (the colon I think is due to thyroid at the moment?). The other too are local infections, The main bulk of the CPn is out. Thank god. I was doing really well up until about 4 months ago after a trial of benicar, that nearly sent me to my grave, I've been down for about 3 months, and am just getting up again with the help of the B12, 6, folic acid, all stemming from Stratton's ideas. Please keep in touch with me, I want to see how you do with it. (I suspect the Flaygl is one of the few abx that might get my localised spots. I could not handle Flaygl when I tried it for more than about 4 days, but at that time I did not know about Stratton and pulsing it. It gave me serious Candida and allergies so much so that I could not breath through my nose.
