Guest guest
Penny, I found that Biaxin was very good at getting into the spine and clearing that from bacteria. The other place it worked very well was an infection lower down from my stomach jodenium area that would not shift, this was really nasty. B12 is making a HUGE difference for me. I think I must have been starved of the stuff. I am still climbing with it. > > " doggy532001 " <doggy532001@y...> wrote: > > > > I wonder if anybody can comment on whether my taking 500 mg twice > > daily of Clarithromycin should be beneficial. > > Everybody's different and so are their bugs, but I don't know anyone > who's found clarithromycin to be all that powerful. The MP has reduced it by maybe 75% but I'm very aware that the problem is still there, maybe turning into permanent arthritis. Maybe I should do the Clarithromycin on the MP for a while instead of sticking with Zithromax. About the MP, it does seem to be working for me, and I definitely am still herxing, but I am losing patience with the slowness of it. I'm watching to see how my son's more traditional Lyme treatment goes and may end up taking an MP break to use something that has worked for him to get my own bacterial load down. I figure our basic bacteria is much the same since he was born with mine to start with. Pam, it sure sounds from the Donta study like the macrolides aren't very effective for Lyme without help from HCQ. Maybe there is a substitute for HCQ? - Kate D.
