Guest guest
It is hard to compare smells, but my husband always can smell before I can when my infection gets out of control. Whenever we smell it, then I have green pus. It gives off a very distinct odor. I usually keep it away with grossan irrigator and doxycycline. I know a lot of people with CFS has not great immune systems (chicken or the egg), but I have always had these sinus problems and I finally was tested and have a IgG subclass deficiency. When I was taking gamma globulin I didn't have the sinus problems. You might have something like that also. doris
Guest guest
Since starting my new dental rinse, I was told by a local friend, that one of our well known dentists here in San Diego prescribes bleach/water rinses for at least a month around the time of dental treatment. Guess I'm not as much of a loon as I thought. So far, the horrible taste has lessened significantly, and I'm having a bit of IBS, but that always happens when I kill bugs, so will have to see if it's related to die-off or just the bleach. penny
Guest guest
No, unfortunately I don't. And I don't plan on seeing this dentist to find out. I have heard great things about him, but the major road block for me is that he does surgery based on Cavitat images which, IMO, is an extremely unreliable imaging device. Besides that, everyone says this dentist is very kind, has reasonable rates, seems to really care, and uses all the latest dental technology. So I was surprised to learn (from a friend I trust), that he also recommends rinsing with a bleach/water mixture for an extended period of time both pre and post dental surgery. I can't imagine that it would be anything other than a very dilute mixture. If anyone wants to contact him directly, back channel me and I'll send you his name (he's in San Diego). penny > Dear Penny > Any idea of the actual concentration of chlorine or a set of dilution tables etc. > Regards > Windsor > [infections] Re: SinoFresh user > > > > Since starting my new dental rinse, I was told by a local friend, > that one of our well known dentists here in San Diego prescribes > bleach/water rinses for at least a month around the time of dental > treatment. Guest guest
Yeah, it could be. I had IBS for years, then suddenly the balance shifted and it went away. But ever since I tried the long term Diflucan treatment, the IBS has been trying to make a comeback. The Ketek didn't help either. So yeah, the balance has shifted again, and it's probable that the good bugs are dying as well as the bad. At least I can supplement with pre and pro biotics with the bleach rinse and the sinofresh, since they're pretty localized treatments (sinus and oral), unlike the systemic effect of oral or i.v. abx. I do believe that most of my illness (and many other people's) is being continuously re-fueled by focal infections in my head and mouth. Sure, the bugs can morph into cwd and nano-bacterial forms etc., but there's no point in trying to get the invisible guys, if the mother lode (the actual focus of infection) is thriving in our heads. I think our medical practices and life styles have made our bodies more vulnerable to chronic infections and we need to reverse that by making our bodies as inhospitable as possible, which includes increasing our ph (alkalinity), eliminating sugar, improving circulation, etc. Basically, everything and anything we can do to make the bugs want to go somewhere else. penny > Just a thought Penny -- maybe the IBS is due to the bleach killing > off the " good guys " in your gut??? > > d.
