Guest guest
Can anyone tell me whether I can use Echinacea, Vaccinium myrtillus and Aesculus for a patient who is taking lithium?? She's been taking a herbal Rx from me for several months now - it's been really helpful and her lithium levels have remained stable over that time. Her GP is not at all in favour of her taking herbal meds due to the lithium so pt has made her own decision to take it. She is disabled and has developed a pressure ulcer on her foot. She has very poor circulation and is wheelchair bound. The ulcer is less than 1 cm in diam and keeps getting infected. Current rx Chamomilla, Astragalus, Avena, , Zanthox, Cinnamomum.
