Actually, you might want to read the following article:

Cancer Res. 2001 Feb 15;61(4):1439-44

Vitamin D is a prooxidant in breast cancer cells.

In other words, the cancer fighting effects of vitamin D, may be more

related to a prooxidant effect, rather than any antioxidant effect.

And there's no indication in reading this study, that such an effect

is specific to cancer cells.
