Guest guest
Anyone have any experience with the Google group format? I know they're starting up a new email service too. Personally, once I got used to it, I prefer the style message format over the complicated boards with all the sub-headings and sub conversations. The shutting down of the I & I group and the discussion there, has been an ongoing effort and I doubt if it will stop now. We definitely need a safe place where we won't keep getting shut down simply because of complaints filed and to which we are given no opportunity to respond. What is hard for me to fathom is how the person responsible for this cannot see how damaging this is to his credibility. penny > > I just want to point out that you can now create a private Google group: > > " Your group and its archives do not appear in public Google search > results or the directory. Guest guest
one way around this might be to be more exclusive and make it a private membership group where new members memberships would be pending. jason In infections , " penny " <pennyhoule@y...> wrote: > > Anyone have any experience with the Google group format? Guest guest
Personally, I like easy access. Taking the list private and becoming hard to find, and not showing up in searches is exactly what the person who got us closed down wants. penny <jseaton357@a...> wrote: > > one way around this might be to be more exclusive and make it a > private membership group where new members memberships would be pending. > jason >
