I'm new around here, so I don't know Chrissy's history. But severely

dry eyes like you describe can be a sign of another autoimmune

disease called Sjogren's. Sjogren's can be primary (by itself) or

secondary to another condition (like Still's). My little cousin was

the youngest in the world to be diagnosed with the condition--so I've

read a lot about it. There's some test where they stick a little

piece of 'paper' in the eye to see how much moisture is there--has

she had anything like that done? If not, consider requesting it.

There are obviously many other conditions that can cause dry eyes,

also medications.

Journey,

Thank you and welcome to the group. is my daughter age 12 and has

had still's since the age of 7. She is a rollercoaster, and either

extremely ill, or the dragon is soundly asleep. Thankfully the dragon has

been sleeping all summer after a real hard battle, we are really enjoying

her well time and I have not been as involved with the group. I am taking

her to UCSF on wednesday and I will request that test. Thank you,

Suzie
