Guest guest
Hmmm, I've got to get to my doc for blood testing. I've been feeling very anemic myself lately. :-( Actually, there wasn't all that much specific discussion on the (now secret) " protocol that cannot be named " . A lot of discussion on vitamin D, inflammation, bacteria and treatments, etc. These kinds of actions just make the whole ridiculous situation that much more visible while riling a lot more people up. Strange logic. Wonder which board might be next? penny > > I started the MP last August. Guest guest
after 3 months on benicar I am suffering with anemia too. I am taking liquid b12 with success. as too folic acid and other bs I think the MP gobles up B12...... this is the cause for the problems with the eyes s > I started the MP last August. Guest guest
Steve, >>I think the MP gobles up B12...... More probably Olmesartan. (benicar) I have been on 10x4 a day since last May and my B12 had dropped to 284 by last December. >>this is the cause for the problems with the eyes Ditto. Poor vision, pain , bleeding. It may have something to do with the infection not being dealt with adequately but also as you say with the B12. Will be seeing an ophthalmologist (spl?) next week. Guest guest
Don The same thing happened to me after about four months on the protocol. I became anemic (which I have never been in the past), with low haemoglobin, hematocrit ratio etc. My kidney function also went out of range, and my ferritin became very high. Those 'in the know' told me it was just herx and not to worry. I decided to stop the protocol anyway. Two weeks later all parameters returned to normal. I then resumed the protocol, and although regular blood tests have not indicated a return of the anemia, my kidney function has again become a problem. Hope that helps, . --- In infections , " craidon " <dal@s...> wrote: > > I started the MP last August. Guest guest
I have been taking sublingual B12 since my doctor discovered the anemia at the end of January. My most recent lab results from the end of February indicated that my anemia actually worsened during the month, so now I'm trying folic acid and Vit. D in addition to B12. I hate to undo any good I might have done by avoiding D while on the MP, but I have to address this issue. My Doc says if I don't see improvements in my blood counts that she wants a complete hematologic workup including a marrow biopsy, and I'll do just about anything to avoid that.
