I have been taking grapefruit seed extract concentrate for Lyme (recently had to stop because it's messing with the drug I take for panic attacks), but also discovered that it can be applied topically (diluted--the manufacturer gives instructions). I have had acne since puberty, but I have noticed that I get cysts when treating Lyme. Mine are deep and seem to be rather resistant to antibiotics lately, but not the topcially applied GSE. I apply it at night to all of the skin on my face and am seeing an amazing clearing of acne and the GSE is shrinking the cysts.

I don't know if this will work for you, but it may be worth a try :-)

Another thought

this could be a herx .If you are on the antibiotics, temporarily stop them to see if symptoms calm down.This is standard procedure with herxes/After two or three days start the antibiotics again, by this time you will know if its a herx or not.also consider Proseed grapefruit seed extract

I know that we are throwing many suggestions out to you and it must be overwhelming , not knowing which way to turn.I hope you find a solution

That is interesting that you can use it topically. (I'll have my kids try it.) I've tried GSE orally and everytime, it starts burning my bladder the very first day.Shera, Do you have polycycstic ovarian syndrome? I do, passed it on to my daughter. Unrelenting acne is a main symptom.
